ELOGOS will be back at you on Monday. I wanted to share a few thoughts before we get back into the ELOGOS routine. Thanks for your patience during this break. Sometimes a person just needs a cerebral enema. Flushed out my brain with some down time, good food, hanging out with my buds, random reading, guilt-free napping, and after my head was uncluttered I found myself .....listening to the God of my life who always has something important to say.
I will continue to write ELOGOS starting Monday. You are free to read it or delete it as you like, of course, but I do encourage you to drop me a line from time to time. Tell me how you and God are getting along these days or offer some feedback. I wish I could say that feedback doesn't matter, but it does. I am encouraged by the good stuff and learn from the tough stuff.
I am also committed to writing more and encouraging conversation at my personal blog: putnikonthebridge.com You are welcome to check it out and join the conversation.
Besides writing, I like to woodcarve and woodburn small items which I auction on my Facebook page: Jazzwater Wood for Good. I have raised over $15,000. for charities through the years and this year I am committed to sponsoring a well in Africa through Water to Thrive. A well sponsorship costs $5000. and will provide clean, accessible water to over 400 people for 20 years. I am asking for your support of my auctions and for donations to this effort. Donations can be made to the Water to Thrive website directly to the campaign at: Jazzwater Wood for Good Campaign. It is close to my heart and I deeply appreciate any gift large or small. All of the royalties from my ELOGOS books(paperbacks & kindle versions), vol. 1-3 on Amazon, will also be donated to this campaign.
If you are still reading this long message, then you are loyal readers of ELOGOS and more than likely friends or fellow travelers on the Gospel road. I am deeply grateful for your company in this distant but still strangely communal vehicle for God's grace. God peace, friends. Back at you on Monday.
