And he said to them, “Take care! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.”

I have been working on getting "my affairs in order." No, I have not received any word of my imminent demise. It is just a good thing to do. Not comfortable, but a good thing. Not easy because inspite of great attempts to lead a simple life, I have accumulated an abundance of possessions. I know of people whose residences are stuffed to the rafters with accumulated possessions. I know of people whose possessions are being sold in auction or taken to the trash because there is no one left to claim the possessions. I have often thought that yards sales were good ways to ease the burden on our land fills. We just rent out our garages to store stuff until the next sale. The Spirit of the Living God's voice keeps tell me to "take care" to live more simply so that others may simply live. My affairs are easier to put in order if I do it for love.
