John 11: 25-26 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” * * * * * * The never dying part sounds really good. I am beyond glad to know that Jesus has that covered. It is the living part that I worry about. We seem to have a pretty good grasp on dying. Jesus hands us the freedom to stop figuring out a way to live forever and yet, we make strange choices with this life. We don't want to die. We want to live, but we are not particularly good at that either. Perhaps the window of finding the truth lies somewhere in believing and exactly in whom we are believing. * * * * * * Holy God, let us be alive. Amen.
