God put this power to work in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the age to come.

We are a getting a clinic in the nature of power in our institutions, our environment, and our relationships. From halls of government to our changing climate to the not-so-simple dynamic of working with different people. Those who have power, want more. Those who don't have power are grenades that have finally shaken loose of their pins with the expected results. For what? For what purpose? We are ALL going to die. The rich, the powerful, the needy, refugee, the Mother Teresas and the Charles Mansons. While we still twist wrists and shatter hearts for power, God works on the real enemy - death. If we truly believe, then what are we afraid of? If God raised Christ from the dead, then why do we not revel in the freedom that grants us to see each other as magnificent company in this gift of life?
