For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

There are verses that are warm like a homemade quilt. There are verses that evoke courage for the day as they cling regally on their magnetized thrones on my refrigerator. There are verses that annoy the poo outta me. Guess which one this is. Every time it slaps me in the face with the grace of God who loves me in spite of my poo. Every time it slaps me in the face with a reminder that with that unrelenting love come gifts to give and a calling that yanks us out of our small thinking. And we can't give them back. Not the love and not the responsibility. So here we are - greatly loved, promised eternity, constantly forgiven, gifted and called by the Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer of us. So what are YOU going to do about it?
