Isaiah 9:6
For a child has been born for us, a son given to us; authority rests upon his shoulders; and he is named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Nothing changes a life and a household more than a new baby.  Furniture is re-arranged.  Schedules are changed. Finances are re-aligned. Priorities are juggled. Make room for the baby.  Make room in your day. Make room in your heart.  The change is life-altaring - that is, for this Christchild, we put our lives on an altar and offer, not just what we have, but who we are. We become more than shelter.  We become the manger and the throne room for the best dream, the definition of love, the greatest hope for us all.

Come, Lord Jesus.  Amen.

Author's Note:  Again, Christmas comes and a New Year is beckoning.  Each in our own way, we hold this tender, fragile world and pray and work for peace.  It is a privilege to share the road and the gift of God's grace with you.  As ELOGOS takes a break until after the first of the year,  please receive my gratitude for your faithfulness to the Gospel from the first day to the last.  I will be announcing news about the 3rd volume of ELOGOS soon.  A blessed Christmas to you all!
