Psalm 98:10
Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things. His right hand and his holy arm have gotten him victory.

There are days I envy those people who you just know are never, ever going to change their minds about anything.  I would love the luxury of being the rock and the hard place that everyone else has to accomodate.  Well, not really.  I have known enough of those folks to know that I would like very much not to de-evolve to be like them.  So we are left to look for a new song, a new way to look at old problems, a fresh perspective and the sacrifice of what part of ourselves we are willing to re-invent.  It hurts, but it hurts less than being a colossal burden to everyone around us. God loves a new song.

Help us find new lyrics and a new tune and quicken our step toward you, Lord. Amen.

Author's Note:  In the 15+ years I have been writing ELOGOS, occasionally I have asked for your input.  This is one of those times again.  I want to keep singing to the Lord a new song and I am willing to evaluate, adjust, re-invent as needed.  I continue to work on glitches with the mail server from time to time and more often, my poor spelling or grammar errors. More importantly, is ELOGOS continuing to meet your needs?  Do you wish for more of something or less of something in what I write?  Would you like the format changed in any way?  I so deeply appreciate your discipleship in reading ELOGOS regularly, I am at your service if I can freshen up ELOGOS in any way.  God's Peace and thank you for all that you do for Jesus' sake.  - Pastor Deb
